We often think that looking polished starts with the perfect outfit.

Over the years, I’ve realised it starts somewhere else entirely.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that taking care of my skin and enhancing my natural features with makeup has become an important part of my routine. Not because I want to hide who I am, but because it helps me look fresh, feel confident and show up as the best version of myself.

A good skincare routine and well-applied makeup don’t make me look like someone else but they simply bring out the best in me.

And when I have a photo shoot or an important event, I happily leave it to the professionals. Their talent is incredible, and I’m so grateful to the amazing woman I trust with my makeup Dubai Makeup Artist ❤︎ Astghik 💄

A little appreciation post for the gentlemen I’ve had the pleasure of styling…

Over the years, I’ve shared many of my women’s styling journeys, but I realised I haven’t shown enough of the wonderful men I have worked with.

So here is a glimpse into my work with my male clients — from styling to personal shopping sessions, helping them refine their style and build confidence!

And I have to say… I have been incredibly lucky.

Every single one of my male clients has been such a pleasure to work with! They are attentive, respectful, kind, and open to the process. They trust my expertise, appreciate my recommendations, and approach each session with such a positive attitude.

After working with so many gentlemen, I feel incredibly grateful for the trust they have placed in me. It’s rewarding to see how a few changes can transform the way someone dresses, and the confidence they carry.

Whether styling women or men, my goal remains the same: helping my clients feel confident, authentic, and confident with who they are.

Thank you to all the gentlemen who have trusted me with their style journey. It has been a great pleasure.

One year ago, I stepped into a role I never imagined I’d take on… as a tutor at the in Dubai.

Looking back, it’s not just the experience that stands out, but what it taught me about myself. I never imagined I could create an entire course, teach it with confidence, and commute to Dubai every day for two weeks while balancing everything else. It pushed me far beyond my comfort zone, and I’m so grateful I said yes🙌🏻

But the greatest part of the experience was the students. They came from different corners of the world, united by one dream: to become personal stylists. Watching their curiosity, growth, and passion reminded me why I love sharing what I’ve learned.
Standing in front of that classroom, knowing I was helping shape the next generation of stylists, is something I’ll always be proud of.

This experience reminded me of something we all need to hear from time to time: never underestimate your own capacity. Sometimes the opportunities that scare us the most become the ones we’re most proud of.

So yes to saying yes before you feel completely ready!!

I’ve been to quite a few weddings over the years and I’ve also helped clients get ready for them.
And every time, I notice the same thing:
The most elegant guests are never the ones doing the most. They’re the ones who got a few simple things right. Because getting dressed for a wedding it about how you show up! Think the balance between elegance, comfort and ease! Standing out…and still respecting the occasion and not over shadowing the occasion!

These are the 5 styling rules I always come back to when I get dressed for a wedding or when I style clients for one. Nothing complicated just small decisions that completely change how an outfit feels. And when you feel right in what you’re wearing… it always shows.
