Vishal Jain is a retail and product professional with over two decades of experience in product development, sourcing, and buying across footwear, apparel, and accessories. This across various geographies like the Middle East, Southeast Asia, China and India. He has worked with leading retailers such as FILA India, MAP (Mitra Adi Perkasa), Matahari and the Landmark Group, managing P&L responsibilities, multi-country vendor bases, and high-volume private label and licensing businesses. Vishal’s strengths include range development, vendor and sourcing strategy, product engineering, and building customer-centric assortments for value and lifestyle formats. He brings a strong design foundation by qualification at NIFT, combined with hands-on leadership of cross-functional, multi-national teams driving growth, margin improvement, and implementation of new tools and technologies.
At Trucare, Vishal will lead the Apparel vertical with a focus on implementing best practices, consolidating and optimizing resources, and leveraging Trucare’s strong legacy. Process implementation will be the cornerstone of this endeavour, as he works to establish new goals and a forward-looking vision for the future ultimately enhancing product quality, fashion relevance, and value for customers.
