Peachy Clothing

Peachy Clothing Fun and comfortable clothing for women. A new collaboration with launching in 2023! Now you may wonder, where did the name ‘Peachy’ come from?

Tee-shirts are where it all began for me as an enthusiastic 18-year-old fresh out of school. I had always loved art and design, and there was a captivating screen printer in my local town called ‘Mildura Screenprint’ on the main street. Its eye-catching big purple and white zebra patterned signage along with the vibrant print examples adorning the shop walls always caught my eye as I passed by. On

e afternoon I decided to wander in for a browse but unexpectedly ended up leaving with an apprenticeship in print design, which started immediately! Those were some of the best days of my life; I absorbed a wealth of knowledge about designing for print and immersed myself in creating film to make screens, print garments, garment manufacturing, heat pressing, commercial embroidery and various other skills that I didn’t know at the time would be so valuable later in my own small business. My boss, John, had connections with a printer in Torquay (Vic) who then printed tee-shirts for the renowned surf brand ‘Rip Curl.’ It was an incredible opportunity when I got a chance to arrange a trip down there, to explore their expansive workshop and witness the magic behind the scenes of a famous surf brand being brought to life. From that very moment, my dream of working for Rip Curl as a tee-shirt designer was ignited! That specific dream didn’t fully come true, but here I am, twenty years later, taking the plunge and launching my own tee-shirt brand! Over the years, I’ve constantly found myself on the search for tee-shirt styles and brands that offer comfort, high-quality fabric, flattering cuts without clinging to the wrong places, minimalistic yet appealing designs, and a range of colours. However, it turns out that finding a tee-shirt that ticks all these boxes is quite a challenge. So for quite some time now I’ve been envisioning creating my own tee-shirt brand, reminiscing about the early days with the screen printers and my visit to the Rip Curl print factory. As we step into this familiar yet exciting new territory, our initial release may be small, but rest assured that ample thought and hard work have gone into it. The debut design called ‘Raglan’ Tee, is plain yet perfect for effortlessly pairing with anything – something that everybody needs. This collection currently features 7 colour variations, and our plan is to expand and diversify the range, offering various cuts and styles, ensuring that people can find their preferred fit and trust that it will remain consistent. Because let’s face it, discovering a well-fitting tee only to see the brand change its style each season is quite frustrating. Firstly, I’ve always loved the colour peach but more importantly the word ‘Peachy’ feels happy and positive – exactly what I want our new tee-shirts to represent. They should be fun and something that makes women feel good when they wear them.
