Shepparton Fibre and Wool Fair (6th June) is pleased to present for the first time Dulce Alpacas Dulce Alpacas . 🦙🦙🦙 Established in 2020 in south-eastern Victoria, Dulce Alpacas is a boutique stud run by sisters Georgia and Jacqueline Bishop. With a herd of 40 alpacas, they produce premium low-micron fleece and create beautiful natural and hand-dyed pure alpaca yarns, ranging from 4 ply to 12 ply. Each annual yarn batch comes from their own alpacas, making every skein unique.

- Cria medium dark fawn suri fleece - approximately 1kg - $45 (Show quality fleece)
- Cria fawn suri - 160grams - $5.
- Brown suri - approximately 1kg - $35

Pick up Bayles or Avonsleigh VIC or plus shipping with AUS Post. A single fleece with AUS Post is typically between $15 to $25 depending on weight.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Open Day at Dulce Alpacas 🤍🦙

It was so lovely to see so many smiling faces enjoying time with our alpacas, learning about them, and sharing in what we love to do every day. Your support means so much to us!

Come and spend a wonderful day with us celebrating all things alpaca!

On the day you can:
✨ Meet and interact with our gorgeous alpacas
✨ Learn how to care for them and what’s involved in owning alpacas
✨ Find out more about breeding and getting started
✨ Enjoy the chance to walk and feed an alpaca

Whether you’re just curious or seriously considering alpacas, this is a great opportunity to learn and have fun!

🧶 Fleeces, patterns and yarn skeins will also be available for purchase on the day.

This stylish hat called “tree trunk” was created with our gorgeous alpaca fibre mixed with some merino and corriedale for colour variation by the amazing Lisa!

Lisa’s creation was entered into the Sydney Royal Show and received a third place. An outstanding piece and one of the only people using raw alpaca fibre in this section. Congratulations Lisa and we look forward to seeing more of your pieces in the future.
