One year ago Emma decided she wanted to donate Easter gift bags to a charity that supported children in care. 2022 saw donations of books, clothes and back to school items each term.
Welcome to 2023 and another donation of Easter Eggs, books and much needed winter clothing.

Are you handy with the sewing machine? The lovely ladies from Care Kits for Kids Qld hold craft mornings to sew and craft items for the care kits.

❣️ It's the first Sat of the month sewing and crafting tomorrow at Care Kits Crafters Camp Hill, 9am Saturday 4th March.
🧵 And we are very lucky to have one of our expert volunteers running a workshop on sewing hoodies!!!

💕 We're planning ahead for our winter Care Kits given to children in care or crisis from April to September.

Update: On Saturday, Emma and I delivered 4 boxes of gifts, toys, Back to school books/pencils and the handmade gift packs below.

It was lovely meeting the ladies who work hard behind the scenes to make the children in emergency care feel special.

Looking forward to January where fingers crossed we can donate Back to School items.

Ever wondered what to do with all those unused stationery supplies that get returned at the end of the year. Emma spent the weekend boxing up school supplies to be delivered to the lovely ladies Care Kits for Kids Qld. If you have any you would like to see put to a good cause let us know. We are delivering in Week 10.

Holidays are almost here and my goal this term is to donate small gifts to the many children in care through the wonderful Care Kits for Kids Qld. I would love some help, big or small. I started on the weekend with some lovely books from Big W. These books are free and can be found at the entrance to Big W stores.
