Wow, what an unbelievable response to the closing. There are so many lovely messages about your beloved bags, and my Etsy store is nearly cleaned out. Making bags gave me joy for so long while my kids were young, so thank you for all your support. Hopefully, a new creative passion will come my way in the future for Blue Eyed Girl.

It has taken me all year to pull the pin after nearly 8 years, making beautiful accessories for lovely customers.

I have taken a lovely break from markets and making to rest my sore hands (which sadly are not the same). Due to this pain, I have lost the joy of sewing. But I have enjoyed getting my weekends back to spend more time with family and friends. Hopefully, my love of sewing returns in the future as I do want to learn to make my own clothes one day.

I just want to say thank you to all the lovely customers who have supported me over the years. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to keep making for 7.5yrs. I have truly enjoyed being part of a handmade community and meeting so many like-minded people.

I need to clear the small amount of stock I have left, so grab a bargain in time for Christmas time. Everything is reduced to clear out my Etsy Store!!!

So, I used the handles from . What do you think?

I didn't realise these were designed to loop through a bag, meaning I didn't have enough gold rivets. Luckily, I bought two handle sets so I could use both rivets for the one set of handles. Thank goodness.

On another note, how stunning is this linen upholstery fabric designed by , I found at .

If you haven't been to the Nest yet in Brendale, it is worth a visit. Makers donate fabric, threads, and more, and an op shop for makers.

I just finished a custom order for the beautiful .ashmeeta featuring her own artwork and fabric printed by .

Ash has done such an amazing job on this artwork, with the beautiful colour, detail, and stories behind each piece. It was a privilege as always to showcase her art. I am sure the women at .therunway will enjoy seeing them first hand at their upcoming event.

A friend visited me this week and needed a clutch for a night out (of course, I have many to choose from). She borrowed my tan leather clutch to compliment a blue linen dress with a brown belt. ❤️ My friend said it was the perfect size for all the essentials for a night out. She now wants one. 💙
