Colors of Love

Colors of Love Bohemian Vintage Textiles, Upcycled Fashion. Luxurious Cushion Covers. One-of-a-kind collection for individuals who love colour and rocking their individuality.

Colors of Love is a collection of Vintage fabrics from the Mayan tribes of Guatemala.and Mexico,

I'm so excited you visited here and share my passion for the dying of handwoven fabrics and hand-embroidery. This 'Wearable Art' and Luxury cushion range collected from over 40 villages in Guatemala. They consist of consists of 'Huipils'(tribal poncho tops), Kortas (tribal skirts) and Ceremonial shaw

ls which I personally collect from these beautiful tribal women. I loved these fabrics so much, I created a luxury cushion range. Each piece is made with love. The harmonious nature of these women is reflected in the pieces they create. Each village has its individual style, each woman creating her unique individual piece. Some pieces have taken up to a year to make. I met many of the mothers and grandmothers who made or inherited these precious heirlooms. We shared precious moments together. As we built a relationship, they began to bring me these very special vintage treasures. I have immense respect for these women, operating on a "Fair Trade" sustainable business model that supported their community. Enjoy and feel free to message me with any questions. Mirella xo
