It’s times like this that hit me right in the heart.

How lucky are we to be able to give our kids a classroom that work for both their bodies and brains. Perfectly matched for what they need.

The banging you can hear in the background is the sound of my 12 year old son kicking a ball against a rebounder while shouting out some spelling.

It’s was one of the most heartwarming and productive lessons.

We might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s ok. The people pleaser in me has had some big learning curves over the years.

In my first years of business I thought to be successful I had to keep everyone happy. This meant I lost the beautiful vision I had for Kuddly Kids.

Kuddly Kids is stronger than it’s even been because I for the first time in five years I have a crystal clear vision.

Why do I do this to myself?! Past Lauren orders cute stock and current Lauren battles the urge to take it all home with her.

The best part of my job (ordering cute stock) quickly leads to the hardest part of my job (self control to not ‘test’ one of everything).

What if? What if I got out of my own way and embraced social media in the early years of business?

All sorts of people walk through our front doors.

First time parents.

Hopeful parents.

You know it’s a good craft activity when your kids ask to do it again!

It’s been years since we have made this little pots. The first time was when my daughter was at the beginning of her fairy garden journey.

Even though I Hope the magic of fairies stay with my daughter for life, I know our window of fairy garden magic is closing.

This is the best time to make another batch of these little pots.

I’m dropping this one here as a reminder for…myself!

Who else gets distracted by new shiny craft projects while ignoring your already long list of crafty ‘to do’ projects?

I’m saying a quiet SORRY to all the crafty inspiration sitting in my saved collection and in my screenshots. You have been neglected and I am so sorry.

There is a new phase in my crafty horizon and it’s actually DOING all the craft I am longing to do rather than add more to my overflowing list.
