Good morning Canberra - the doors are open at the Canberra Small Business Christmas Market. It's on today until 3pm in the Fitters Workshop right next door to the Old Bus Depot Market.

It's been such a whirlwind few weeks here (after thirteen years at home with the kids I have a wonderful new job!) so I am very tardy in reminding everyone that I will be at the Canberra Small Business Christmas Market tomorrow from 9.30am to 3pm in the Fitters Workshop building - right next door to the Old Bus Depot Market. At this stage it will be your only chance to catch Flibbertigibbet at a market before Christmas but if you have any special requests for Christmas please send me a message so that I can get started on custom orders after this market.

A little time away from market prep (although not too far - the blue and purple fabrics on the left edge are market stock under production) as my mother in law has given me my first spinning lesson. The yarn on the bobbins is not of my making but in this photo I am wrangling an alpaca fleece we bought at the Celebration of Wool day at Old Bus Depot Market earlier this year. So much fun!

It's been a very busy year for me with life in general but finally it's time for a market appearance! I am very much looking forward to being part of the Canberra Small Business Market on Sunday the 4th of November with this amazing lineup of fellow stallholders.

You probably realise I have a thing for buttons but this man *really* likes buttons. What an amazing collection! I really love all the timber drawers. My buttons and fabric are stored, funnily enough, in a multitude of IKEA drawers ...

I went shopping at Handmade Market yesterday and added to my collection of Look Mama magnets. I do so love fabric. It's also very appropriate that the Flibbertigibbet ladybird magnet features in this photo as it was the quest to identify and locate this fabric that was the catalyst for what evolved to become Flibbertigibbet as it is today. Hooray for fabric!

Handmade Market is on again today until 4pm. I'm not there this time but there's lots of lovely things to buy and delicious things to eat and drink.

Good morning from day two of Handmade Market. The coffee smells great, the live music is fantastic and the customers are delightful. Bracelets are back in stock and there's even a spot of flower making going on as time permits. Here until 4pm today.

Good morning Canberra! The March Handmade Market is open today and tomorrow from 10am until 4pm at EPIC. If you need an ID reel (AKA whizzer, wotsit, pass holder) then stall #120 in the Budawang Pavillion is the place to be. The table is full and there are lots more being carded up. See you soon!
