We have been playing with fabric for years, creating all things from dresses to bags to hats and all things quirky. We love fabrics, colour and experimenting with buttons, lace, unusual trims and all things that are just a little bit different. The duo consists of Irma and Ruth; Irma has always enjoyed experimenting with fabric, silk painting, garment construction and art q
uilts. A large number of our fabrics come from around the world; Japan, America, Bali and Canada as well as some feature screen printed designs of our very own! We aim to make entirely individual creations every time and do not replicate a design twice. For many years we have shared a common interest in fabric and a love of colour. The joy of finding just the right piece of fabric to complement another is to us completly satisfying and enjoyable plus the pleasure of working together in harmony and having creative fun. Initially we designed bags to meet our own needs for practical every day use, which lead to making bags for family and friends. In making the fabric tote and shoulder bags, plus quilts, we enjoy our creative days together sewing and choosing fun colours for each item being made. Using our talents in this way is rewarding, enjoyable and a gift and we hope you love your new bag as much as we do!
