Studio update, I have been very busy working on the farewell banner, I’m finally on the last stages. I’m half way through the 84 names hopefully I’ll have them finished this weekend ready for final assembly next week.

I’ve been busy in the studio with this years Year12 Farewell Banner, it looks like a simple one but has a lot of maths working out with positioning of the elements. The background pieces done & quilting done, now adding the inspiration quotes. There has been a lot of digitising with this quilt.

Another unfinished project finished Cassie’s Quilt by Sue Daley. Started this quilt back in 2014. It features paper pieced Applique, fussy cutting fabric patterns, hand stitching Appliques, edge to edge machine quilting, backing binding & mitred corners.

It’s been a busy few weeks with grandparent duties& I finally found time to get into the studio & finish . Did a binding using the backing fabric with mitred corners. So happy this is finished.
