What I discovered again when I let joy back in was a greater sense of curiosity followed by a brave stepping forward into the realm of playful exploration.

Our Not Everyday Skirt design arrived from choosing to add joy and it continues to quietly share its story with great popularity.

The story of exploring new horizons is stitched into a rethink on seam, pocket, and hem finishes. An experiment that was sketched and calculated on paper first… and refined in the making.

This is Jenny and finding clothing that fits just right can be a challenge when you are taller than the average. The choices are therefore limited.

By offering clothing made to order with a curated range of fabrics we give you limitless outfit combinations to let you express your individual style.

The joy circle therefore is completed when the clothing I make for you to feel comfortably you in, is also an expression of myself.

Visit the link in profile to start a conversation, save this post, or share with a friend, if you appreciate intentionally made, effortless feel good clothing.

If you have ever thought to yourself…

“I want to feel put together without effort.”

“I want something that works for everyday life.”

“I want clothes I can move in.”

“I want to buy less, but better.”

Reach out. These are a few reasons why our customers keep coming back, and we love that.

Kerry is wearing Clara wrap dress in pistachio check, hepburn pants and Where have You Been too also in pistachio check, Whatever pants in navy blue check with Apple green Bow tie swing top, and a sneaky peek at, yet to be released, coming soon, two new designs in some of our autumn fabric selections.

What if I told you linen doesn’t need ironing! What would that mean for you. For me it meant that looking after my linen clothing was easy! Yo be truthful I had no idea just how much easier it would be! Literally changed my world!

I wash less and I never iron!

Travelling is a breeze when I roll and hang at the other end.

Because I’m not asking the fibres of the fabric to go all stiff and flat with the iron, any little creases pretty much fall out with the warmth of my body.

As far as washing goes I prefer to use a dry wash method between laundering. Basically wear once and air out before the next wear. Repeat! Repeat! Keep repeating. I can get multiple wears per garment before they are actually showing signs of being genuinely dirty. I really only wash if I can detect body odor, or a significant spill or splodge lands on my clothing. Little spills I sponge off straight away, and let dry naturally. Linen dries so quickly that I can do a quick touch up on the run if I need to!

So you can wear your linen to all the places, and do all the things. It’s strong and durable and can cope with the rough stuff!

Paint, ink and rust…. Are the enemy. Chocolate, red wine, even turmeric have all be conquered with hasty attention. Even oil and grease will disappear! I’ve seen all the horror stories over the years and it really is a magical easy care fibre.

So if grandma or mum told you linen needs ironing and it always crushes easily…. That was then! In the now, linen clothing is a labor saver. I’m in. Are you?

How do you find caring for linen? Any questions drop them in the comments below.

EDIT: personal note: if ironing is your preference, go for it. I’m all for wearing clothing however you need. Always step out the door feeling comfortable and confident.

Clothing that feels good on long days at work looks like this for me? What is it for you?

This might not be your favourite look but it’s mine.

What YOU wear should suit YOU and the way you want to feel, doing what you need to do everyday.

These are the Everyday Pants with the Shrug Wrap top, and I can do most everything I need to do in it. A morning walk, coffee at my local, run my business, make the clothing for customer orders, chill out at yoga, relax the evening away.

Over time different styles have been added to our range, and if this look isn’t for you, there could be just the right style waiting for you (take a peek at the website for the full range)

What's on your "Take forward" list for 2026? I took a moment to consider what I liked in 2025 and then decided what stays in 2026.

On my top 3 list is:

* Keep wearing this linen clothing that lets me feel energised, that works for my body, and my life.

* Less rushing, and less "good enough"

*. More listening, and making with intention the garments you love reaching for day after day.

Oh... and wearing my hair in a high messy bun, time with my family and taking time to visit art galleries and exhibitions. I could also add walking, yoga and writing daily!

POV. It’s January and I run a small business where I make linen clothing to order for my customers and an Australian summer is seriously the best time to be fully clothed in linen. Ask anyone you know who wears linen, they’ll likely extol linens virtues to you for as long as you are happy to listen!

If I’m being completely honest January days are also: full of planning
and notebooks
and calendar updates
and resetting the routines
and deciding which good ideas to run with first

…. AND…. Getting those orders made and out the door for our customers to enjoy them the most! (Of course you can wear our linen garments all year round… it’s just that in summer it’s essential!)

I have making spaces now from the second week of February to fill. Let me know if you’d like to grab some of those spots for your new 2026 wardrobe additions.

New habits, small shifts that I’ve found work if you want clothing that supports you.

In the beginning and over time these small observations let me discover what worked for me.

Now my wardrobe has clothing that is made up of fewer pieces that genuinely work for me and that I absolutely love wearing!

That’s always been at the heart of what I do. Finding solutions to uncomfortable fits, making designs and getting them just right so that the clothing I make for my customers works, for them. Everyday day…. All day!
