Trying something new with the long sleeve. Heavy cotton is a bit hot up north 😂 but will do a lighter material next time. Enjoyed drawing this one up, first design so far to have some classic ocean stuff being a humpback whale, turtle and manta ray! Had sneak a lil coral trout in there though 😂.

The Great Barrier Reef. One of the world’s great wonders and most precious habitats to all things watery and awesome. I’m hoping to spend many a day exploring this vast reef and getting to discover a bunch of new epic aquatic beings. Not going to lie, very excited about spearing a few of these aquatic beings to and unlocking some new spear species.

We’re settling in to the beautiful QLD northern tropics just splendid. Got a little slice of paradise now in Cooya beach that we are slowly turning into our own tropical retreat.

Whilst up in the Daintree I was lucky enough to spot a beautiful big cassowary strolling along the road side and had to draw up something. So two birds one stone (pun intended) gave me the opportunity to pay tribute to one of my favourite brands Mambo Australia by making up this tropical piece inspired by their OG kookaburra design.

Now just need these trade winds to chill so I can get back to the ocean life.

Got to have the croc design now I’m back in snap snap land. Complacency is abundant when it comes to fishing and exploring up here, I’m just as guilty at looking at a creek crossing or swimming hole and risking it for a biscuit.. but yeah I’ve seen a couple now and they sure are some sinister dinosaur looking killing machines. Might think twice 🐊

Last coral trout speared in WA before the big move over east. Still not got in the water over here yet thanks to the trade winds and snappy things that patrol the shoreline.. (and mud water). Very excited about getting out on the reef for the first time to explore/murder some fish

Well getting into the East cost vibes by getting my coral art on. A rather tedious but fun process drawing this design up, and trying to stay true to species of corals found on the Great Barrier Reef. This will be absolutely available soon on tees. Hope my spelling was on point 😅.

Some of you may know, some may not, but I have officially moved to a place I’ve been wanting to explore for many years. Finally made it to FNQ, settling into a little spot called cooya beach near Port Douglas.

This will be home and a new journey for me.. And BadFish is very much alive with a lot more expansions planned.
The website is still down until I move into my new house in late July 🙂

For now, it’s time to explore my new backyard and get inspired ✌️

New coast, new coral trout. Goal whilst up in FNQ is to land one of these blue spot suckers over 15kg. Now normally that’s a spear but another brand new experience for me is that of the wonderful ciguatera.. so maybe this means I’ll have to pick up a rod 😱😱.

Will have a whole load of new merch coming out in the next month 🙂. 🤙

Out of Australia’s fresh water fish, reckon Murray cod is up there as number one I’d love to tick off the catch list. They are such a surreal big fish, with nothing else like em found around the world. I’d love to see one of those mythical 20kg ones in person.

I do have a fondness for birds, Especially the our cockatoo species. It’s more their inquisitive and often goofy personalities more than anything. Always a slight bit of mischievous behaviour going on. Reckon this design would make a great oversized tee. Yay?
