I actually got washed through the guard rails on 52 deck one night on life bouy sentry. Some idiot made the life line, (tied to one of the ladder rungs on the front of Mount 52,) too long. I was left hanging in between both desks for a good 15 minutes at 0300 in the morning in a sea state 5! I got smashed.
It also has a fair bit to do with some of my PTSD! It was very fortunate for me I used the bowline they taught me on my Clearance Divers course. If not I'd be dead either way!

This is a Review I have just written for Dr Timothy Grice. PAIN SPECIALIST. PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW WITH PTSD!
DR Tim Grice is a God send! I have wasted over 20 years of my life going to so called specialists ending up with any long term relief. Dr Grice has treated my Service related PTSD,, neck and lower spine injuries sustained during diving operations in the Royal Australian Navy. I can honestly say my anger level and frequency of outbursts from my PTSD has been reduced considerably. I just completed my 4th surgical procedure on my lower spine injuries. I am still recovering in bed and hopefully in the coming days and weeks I will feel the benefits. Rather than spending thousands on scans and tests he actually puts his hands on you and finds the correct areas of inflation rather than just looking at images which DO NOT always tell the true story.
I highly recommend Dr Grice for his respectfull, kind and empathic manner. If you suffer from PTSD please as your GP to refer you to the injection

Today I had some special guests. LSCK Dolly Evans (20 year Veteran) and my very good online friend Helen Weekes. Dolly is suffering from sever PTSD, Spinal Spondlosis and Parkinson. Dolly came here today to do two things... one was to share and join in the experience of bringing this vessel back to life, and the second was to invest $1000 of his very hard earned cash into this Project! I have put Dolly in charge of designing the new Galley. He will be coming up any chance he can. Welcome aboard Shipmate!
I gave my word to Dolly that every cent of his very generous gift will go towards the new Galley. I will also be naming the galley after him! A huge BRAVO ZULU to you Dolly. Also a huge shout out for Helen for her incredible, kindness, compassion and love she puts out every day. I asked them if it was OK to make this public. Their answer was, Please do, as we want more people to get involved and be pro-active in something that's already producing positive results. I'm not talking about me blasting off paint, I'm talking about bringing joy and purpose into people, like Dolly's, life!
