WHAT IS THE SUNDAY ROAST?
The Sunday Roast is built on one simple idea: sharing and community.
Sunday is the one day the roastery (Lottie Lane) slows down. Production stops, the doors stay open, and there’s time to chat, connect, and welcome people in.
We wanted to open the roastery doors and invite our community to experience everything that goes into roasting coffee, the smells, the sounds, the stories, and the people behind it.
Alongside that, we’ve created space for local makers and collectors to set up along the Lottie Lane laneway, turning it into a small, local market filled with creativity and good energy.
At its heart, The Sunday Roast is about celebrating Moonah, the makers, the locals, the small businesses, and the wonderful community that makes this place what it is.
We are running The sunday roast through to April, BUT not every Sunday

It has been a while but on the last weekend of the month I will be at All Saints Market South Hobart on Saturday and the new Molesworth Market on the Sunday. We have a bunch of new kitchen towels, oven potholders and some of my fabric pieces have been popped onto blank cards. Also hoping to get some of my usual travel bags made. Maybe some early Xmas gjfts? Hope to see you there.

I had been wanting to make potholders for a while but wanted a simple pattern that would take too long. Found this one which I now used to make a couple. These will be on my table at the next markets. All Saints Market South Hobart on Saturday 26th April and Collinsvale Market on Sunday 27th April.

With Mother's Day coming up, have busy making some new kitchen towels, pencil cases and coin purses for my next markets. These and many more new items will be at All Saints Market South Hobart All Saints Market South Hobart on 26th April and Collinsvale Market Collinsvale Market on 27th April. If you have something special in mind happy to do custom orders. I can even put your name on a bag. Plus can do repairs and alterations of your well loved or new clothing. Hope to see you there.

It has been a while but I have been managing to get some new bags made over winter. Will be returning to the markets at the end of September. Will keep you posted closer to the dates.

This is a group that I do sewing bees with. They have lots of handy hints to reduce plastic waste. They are one of the reasons I make repurposed bags from clothes and also make produce bags.

We are a community group based on the Eastern Shore in Hobart. Inspired by local group Plasticwise Taroona , we hope to help reduce the use of single use plastics in our beautiful state and inspire others to do the same throughout Australia and worldwide.

One of the guys at work asked me to make an apron with pandas on it for his wife. So this is what I did. The only disturbing thing is from a distance the pandas look like skulls. Anyway I am pretty happy with the final result.

In between doing curtains and cushions have made a bee bag with a pocket and a zipped pouch out of fabrics I got from the South Hobart Tip Shop. However I gave blood for the bee bag. Putting the pocket on yanked my finger on a needle and had a real bleeder. Ah the sacrifices we make for our craft. These will be on sale at my next markets All Saints Market South Hobart and Collinsvale Market on the last weekend of this month. I will also be doing a market at Oatlands on the 9th December and on the 16th and 17th final markets for the year again at All Saints and Collinsvale. Hoping to see you there

More bags. This time we have travel bags. These fit nicely into your suitcase or backpack. Although I know the box ones are loved by knitters. There is even one for the Harry Potter fans. Will be on my table this weekend All Saints Market South Hobart Collinsvale Market
