Last night we turned 4️⃣!🎉

Thankyou to everyone who has had a seat at our crochet table over the years, you have all contributed to our group in some way. 🫶🏻

The friendships that have blossomed, the knowledge sharing with like minded crafters and the trust and respect everyone has for each other in the group has exceeded expectations of our gatherings.

It’s been a wonderful group to be part of, thanks for the journey so far, here’s to even more years of Tuesday night crafting magic. 🧶🎉💫

We are a very welcoming bunch of ladies who enjoy a bit of crochet. Please feel free to invite friends and colleagues who may be interested to come along and join us for a chat and a bit of crafting on Tuesday evenings.

Knitters, cross-stitchers, weavers, embroiders, if it’s a mobile hobby you can take on the go, feel free to join us. We love to see something new at our table!💫

Greetings from down south in Denmark!

A reminder to our regulars that there is no catchup this coming Tuesday, but we will be back to our weekly catchups on the 15th July.

Newborn beanies🧶
We are currently taking donations of newborn or premmie sized beanies to donate to KEMH. We met lovely Kristen at our last catchup who let us know she works at the hospital and would be more than happy to take them in on our behalf for the babies.

If you’re looking for a small, quick project this long weekend, please crochet a few beanies to donate and bring them along on Tuesday night(28 January) for our next catchup. (day after Australia Day holiday).

Pinterest had a tonne of free patterns if you’re looking for inspiration.
No pom-poms please and please avoid the colour yellow as this is not favoured for the babies with jaundice.

Final catchup for 2024….🧶🎄
With Christmas fast approaching and our group taking a little break over the festive season, our last catchup this year will be at St Dominic’s school hall on Tuesday, 3 December.
If you have been following us for a while but we haven’t met you yet, please come along and say hello, we love a chat and welcome everyone to our crafty table. Please bring anything you would like to work on during the evening. Doors open 6:30pm.

Another successful collaboration with St Dominic’s School for their Anzac Day ceremony today.

The single poppies pinned to the tablecloth were made by one of the students who attended our School Holiday sessions in April. Wonderful to see those who came along in the holidays pursuing crochet further in their own time and making the poppies for today. ❤️

She’s nearly there!….
Pauline has finished the sunrise panel on her mosaic blanket and the border is nearly finished. Isn’t it just beautiful 💛

Leone has made a very pretty daisy blanket which she showed us Tuesday night. A few of us now inspired to make our own daisy blankets too. 🌸

Next Tuesday will be our final morning session with the kids for the school holidays. We have been receiving feedback and photos from parents who came last week saying how much their kids enjoyed learning to crochet with us and what they’re working on at home. Can’t wait to see their progress. So exciting 😊

And our doors will open on Tuesday evening for our adult crochet catch-up from 6:30pm.

BIG shout out to our crew that came along to teach the kids a little bit about crochet this morning🧡

Thankyou to Tracey, Leone, Patricia, Kasey and Koté for your generous time (and patience) this morning.

Also a big thank you to Christina who donated a large stash of yarn for the kids to use. They loved the variety of colours and were pretty happy to take a ball home to practice with until next Tuesday morning.
