So you’ve recently purchased a Bralette! While the soft, natural and breathable fabric requires far less washing than synthetics, when it does comes time to give it a wash you’re wondering how to do it.

At ShyAktive we encourage taking good care of your sports bra for long-lasting enjoyment - here are our tips:

1. Cold hand wash or cold delicate cycle with gentle detergent
2. Wash separately for the first wash then wash with similar colours
3. Always air dry (avoid tumble dry) and lay flat to dry in shade (drying in sunlight may damage the natural dye colour)
4. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean your garment
5. For stains, dab with cold water and wash as per instructions above
6. Be careful with sunscreens near the garments

Even if it feels stretched after wear and exercise, the Tencel fibre after washing and drying will return to its original size.
