I saw a reel that turned fabric scraps into buttons and because I am trying to reduce as much fabric waste as I can, I had to buy a button maker tool and try it out!

It is super easy and I made about 40 buttons in one sitting 😂
I have added hair ties to the back and they make the cutest hair accessory!

Another thing we bought Miss H at Kryal Castle was a unicorn headband. Again, I told her that I can make one gor her but she was adamant she wahted the ome there.
I only had 2 horns at home so this is what I made.
I will have these 2 available tomorrow at the Pakenham Twilight Market at 2pm.

We were on holiday last week and I got sucked into buying a couple of things for Miss H that I knew I could make for a 5th of the price. A ribbon wand was one of those things.

I had the dowel and some ribbon already so all I had to get were eyelet screws.
I have made my own and will have them at the Pakenham Twilight Market this Sunday.

A little upcycle project I did with Miss H.
I was gifted this jacket years ago for one of the boys and they never wore it so I decided to add some iron on embellishments to make it a little more "girly".
Miss H picked which one went where.

Just a little sneak peak of the material I've thrifted lately.
I am in the process of making a baby set for a friend of mine and I found the cutest cot sheet that I have repurposed to make a collection of baby items (I can't show it yet as I haven't given it to her yet).
I have seen a lot of repurpose and upcycling reels on socials so wanted to give it a go!
The things I have thrifted have cost anywhere between 50cents and $12 (doona cover brand new in packaging).
Can't wait to try some new sewing techniques and baby items!
