Nu 4 U Creative

Nu 4 U Creative Nu4u specialises in making wearable and functional art which carries an eco message with it.

Welcome to Nu 4 U, and the world of art, craft, recycling old into new and tapping into your own creativity through workshops, one on one consultative sessions or seminars. We create and hand make one off, unique fashion, jewellery and home decor pieces as well as teach you to do the same. This is all achieved through the use of old clothing, ties, shirts and dresses, natural fibres and seeds, suc

h as wonga wonga vine, blue quondong seeds and banana fiber alongside the odd whimsical item from a recycle depot or 2nd hand shop. Our workshops cater for individuals as well as groups who want to learn our techniques and join us on our journey of creativity and fun.

Mac has found his forever home. Starting in our workshop as a motor bike exhaust, Mac has gone from our pop up shop to now overlooking the ocean.
Delivering him yesterday was a joy and pleasure as he was a surprise gift from husband to wife 💕.

One of our regular challenges is using old and discarded fishing line.
Why?
It has memory ( so keeps its shape once wrapped around a reel etc.)
It’s slippery..
It’s hard to see…
It can be stiff and springy.
As a result it’s easy to get a knot in the line, which once unknotted, leaves a kink in the line.
Would you be up to the challenge?
