So I've been busy creating some new designs and adding them to my etsy shop.

No its not all knitting. YES I am still knitting.

I've made the decision to really add to my shop so that a) I have more visability to my knitted items and b). Can add more income to my family budget and hopefully lean more into working from home to support my kids (as they need me home more to support them with their neurodiversity and challenges). As well as me needing it - as being a single mum, juggling full time work, two businesses and full time study, I'm wrecked.

My goal has always been to work from home. And this is a piece of that puzzle.

So I have designed all of these products. They will take a few weeks perhaps to arrive and are from different suppliers. But I am excited about adding some diversity to my shop.

Its certainly starting to get colder. It seems as though autumn took along time in making itself known this year.

Something that I love about what I knit is the fact that they last for many many years. I have one beanie I religiously pull out and wear each year, and a scarf too.

The best thing about using a good quality wool too, is that you actually don't need to wash it after every wear, or much at all in fact. Just air it out after wear, sponge off any marks/spills and re-wear.

Wow has it been a while since I posted!

Single Parenting, studying full time and working full time has meant that my time is very limited. Plus, over the past year I have been really focused on building my healing and coaching business. If you wish to find out about that you can follow me

I have just updated and renewed a whole heap of listings over on Etsy. I did scale back to bare bones last year and I also considered closing my knitting biz altogether 😢

However I have decided that I am allowed to be multi-passionate and why limit myself to one thing if I dearly love both?!

Yes maybe my effort between the 2 gets stretched, but I know those of you who have been here for a long time understand that I'm very laid back and not all up in your face with my knitting.

Knitting is definitely my hobbi and love. So I just don't think I could close things down.

Also I noticed someone released a pattern of my beanie and another being sold on etsy that is mine. So I'm determined to not shy away from what I have created and I need to publish my OWN patterns and get rid of the copycats.

I am an original.

So I'd love your support in that too.

Anyway if you're in need of something warm for winter, I'd love for you to go over to Etsy and purchase something.

As always you are helping a single parent family get by.

And again everything is made to order, so feel free to message and tell me what colour you would like, or add a variation not listed.

I aim to have items knitted in 3 weeks now, as I said I'm now working AND studying full time. So I can only knit for a couple of hours each night if I'm lucky.

But everything is always done :)

I also have a new beanie and cowl set I've created, but I wish to write out the pattern before I release that one, so keep your eyes out for that!

At the airport and so glad I carry my handknitted coffee sleeve everywhere I go.

It keeps my coffee warm and my hands cool.

So its been a while since I posted.

I am still in the background knitting as I go but I have been busy with full time work and two children needing assessments as well as trying to establish my coaching business. So its been a bit full on this year.

I just started myself a quick knit jumper for winter as I realised my closet mostly contains thin cotton cardigans and my wardrobe is seriously lacking some warmth 😳🥶

I will post a picture when its done, and hopefully it fits 🤣

I used yarn I already had, which is black, which also feels good to use what I purchased years ago and not have it wasted.

I have closed my website down for a bit as the traffic through it wasn't happening and as with all things it gets hard to maintain all of the extra costs at the moment.

But I still have my Etsy store up and running.

In fact in the last few weeks I've had 2 clients that have purchased a few things over the years return and ask me to make them some more 👋💖🎉 and that makes me so happy to know that people keep coming back ###

So I recently posted off a cable knit beanie to order and I am about to make a mens vest and rib beanie as soon as the yarn arrives. 🧶

Which is wonderful 🌞

Working on a 'smaller' version, as in yarn and needle size.

I just sat down to knit with a show on Netflix.
I've had a stressful few weeks and my nerves are fried. Then today the back tap came apart and there was water going everywhere!! I couldn't find the water meter to turn it off. Luckily a quick call to my landlords were able to tell me where it was. Now all fixed thankfully. Gosh I'm handy! Ha ha

Now I've also got a cake in the oven for Madelines birthday tomorrow, whilst she is out at a surprise party organised for her by her friends!

Funny how quick everyone grows up!

Hope everyone else is well out there, its been a massive few months.

Its really time to focus doing things that bring you peace, joy and calm. Then step back and allow the universe to work its magic 💖💖
