These beautiful memory cushions were made for a customer using her late father’s shirts — giving much-loved clothing a new purpose while keeping a little piece of him close.

Each cushion incorporates the original shirts, including their buttons, pockets and distinctive checks, so the memories and character of the garments remain.

There’s something incredibly special about being trusted to create pieces like these. 🥰

Visitors will be invited to explore not only the exhibition but also a self-guided art trail through participating Lismore businesses, where selected artworks will be displayed throughout the precinct. The initiative has been developed to encourage visitors to discover the unique character of Lismore while supporting local businesses and artists. The trail celebrates the area’s resilience, creativity and strong community spirit, strengthening connections between the arts and local businesses and artists.
