Throw back to when I decided to start using my gifts for monetary gain. After a long and hard year in 2020 I decided it was time to stop talking and start doing.
I used whatever room I could find in my nana’s house in Sydney. Boy, was it full. I began working to increase my value by diligently sewing every day, pattern drafting every day, losing myself not caring about socialising, eating out and talking the talk.
I spent many years talking about what I wanted to do but fear of failure, fear of embarrassment, fear of success, fear of not being able to deliver stopped me in my tracks.
Many people have put me down over the years. I was always never good enough to them. I’ve fought many battles in my mind and by the grace of God I have overcome those mental road blocks.
