151E DESIGN is a brand inspired by the Japanese proverb “Ichigo Ichie” (一期一会 / イチゴイチエ), which means “treasure every encounter, for it will never recur.”

The name 151E is a playful nod to Japanese pronunciation:

1 (ichi) – One,
5 (go) – Goes,
1 (ichi) – One,
E (e) – Encounter
