Our store re-opens this month! I’m excited, I have missed you all and packing orders! Few set backs for me health wise so a longer than expected break but Chook & Bear has my heart and I’m excited to continue to grow. 💗

Hello Chook & Bear fam! Long time, no chat (or post)!

It’s been a longer than expected break but I have still been lurking in the background, replying to your messages and doing some little behind the scenes work into our store and what’s to come. Thanks to those that checked in to make sure I didn’t fall off the face of the earth, myself and my littles are all well 🤍

We are back! Our store is closed until next week while I make some changes and some updating. Just a little refresh. 🍃

I hope your start to the new year was fabulous, look forward to continuing this little adventure with you all ✨ There are exciting things ahead 🙌🏻

Happy 1st Birthday to us! ✨🌸🎉

Today marks one year since the beginning of Chook & Bear. This time 1 year ago we launched our website and on the same day we received our very first order to a stranger. We began with minimal brands and a tiny customer base. Fast forward….

Now we stock a number of beautiful brands. We continue to expand and grow. We have a steady flow of orders and every single day I am grateful for them all. It amazes me that I have continual return customers and the love keeps coming. To all the new customers that choose to buy from our store, Thankyou for choosing us 💕

It’s been a ride, it’s been hard, it’s been rewarding and I am humbled. Every purchase from us has supported our family, in one way or another and this year, if you made an order with our store, you contributed to our daughters healthcare costs and helped her to have surgery. So Thankyou! ♥️♥️♥️

ITS DECEMBER! I can’t believe the tree is up, the elves are here and we have begun all our Christmas traditions. It’s a world of excitement for our little ones and it’s our favourite time of year!

Sorry for being so absent here! I finally caught up on all orders from the sale and then our little princess went into surgery this week so I have been prioritising her 🤍

I will be closing the store over the Christmas period to spend much needed time with my family and to be present in all the magical moments with my little loves.

All remaining Christmas stock will be added to clearance and will remain heavily discounted until sold out! Christmas cut offs for orders will be 14th December. Store will be closing from the 20th December.

WE ARE BACK!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

That was a stressful as heck week! Our website issues have been fixed and the store is fully functioning again. Thankyou for being super patient and understanding, it was super frustrating not being able to receive orders for this entire time but we are finally back into it!

Our store crashed just after our 25% off sale started which was not ideal 🙄🙄

Sooo our sale is back! 25% off storewide until midnight Monday! Hopefully we can bring back a bit of momentum and you can finish your Christmas shopping! No code needed 🤩

SAD NEWS 😭

Unfortunately halfway through our 25% off sale, our website crashed and sadly it’s still down. ‘Insert extremely disappointed face’

I am still yet to find out why this has happened and thankfully the platform providers for our store are being super helpful in trying to rectify the issue. Until they do, I have no control and this is obviously a really frustrating situation in that I am unable to sell my products currently, I’m not receiving orders, you guys are messaging me hoping to place an order and it’s the busiest time of year 😥 thanks technology 👏🏻🙄

In the interim, I will be packing the orders that made it through before we crashed. Once we are back up and running I will run the sale again and hopefully that will be in enough time for us to get them out for Christmas! I will stay up until midnight if need be, if it doesn’t rain, it pours! 😔
