Thank you to everyone who has supported the closing-down sale. I have been completely overwhelmed with orders (who doesn't love 50%-75% off?!) I'm working my butt off trying to get them all packaged and shipped out!! Anyone who ordered last Saturday can expect a shipping notification in the next 24-48 hrs. All orders from last Sunday onwards are being packed as quickly as possible. I am aiming to have them all sent out by the end of next week.
Apologies for the delay, but between a very demanding new job and the sheer number of orders received, it's taking a lot longer than usual to finalise your orders!

In news that should surprise absolutely no one - the week that I announce the closure of Miskonduct Klothing is also the week my web host provider has decided to f&%k me around with my email service 🙄 So, instead of arguing until I'm blue in the face with someone in a call centre who does not seem to have any interest in helping me, I'm changing my email address!
Any communication via the Contact Us page has already been redirected to the new inbox, and I've updated all online references to the new email address - so moving forward please use [email protected]
If you see an old email address somewhere, let me know! I'm pretty sure I've changed most references, but it's entirely possible I've missed something! Oh....and if your looking for web hosting or domain name services, steer clear of Web Central. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!

A little retrospective of some of the Miskonduct Klothing pieces I've designed and made over the years.

It has always blown my mind that people actually wanted to wear what I had made. Thank you so much for supporting this biz and allowing me the opportunity to pursue a long-held dream.

The doors close on the Mayfield Boutique for one last time this Saturday 10th August. It's been lovely to see so many people pop in during the week for one last shop, and to wish me the best. Y'all are the reason I kept on keeping on for so long! 🥰

Wow! Y'all know how to make a gal feel loved 🥰 Thank you to everyone who has commented, messaged, called, and visited since yesterday's closing down announcement. I am truly overwhelmed by your well wishes and kind words. You are all a very big part of why I kept pushing myself to keep going for as long as I did...I know how much Miskonduct Klothing means to so many of you. This biz is not just another dress shop!!

I'll be in-store for regular trading hours for the remainder of the week, so if you are keen for one last shop, or just want to come and reminisce over a coffee, then swing by! (I'll have an oat milk latte, in case anyone's offering 😉😆)

Just a reminder that the Mayfield Boutique will be closed from Monday 12th August for good! Online will be available in the short-term, but I will be closing this part of the business in the not-too-distant future.

📢📢MISKONDUCT KLOTHING IS CLOSING DOWN 📢📢

That’s right, lovelies. After a great deal of soul-searching I’ve made the decision to close the business. The economy has continued to deteriorate over the last 12 months, and quite frankly, I just don’t have another fight left in me. The business isn’t in good shape, and my health – both physical and mental – is really starting to show the signs of prolonged stress.

The Mayfield Boutique will cease trading under regular hours from Monday 12th August, when I start my new “real job” (not paying myself for most of the year so I can keep the doors open has put a massive hole in our savings – so it’s back to work I go!)

The website will still be open for the foreseeable (but not forever!), and I may have the option to open the boutique during weekends, depending on my work commitments, but I’ll have to update you on that one once I settle into my new role.

The past 7+ years has taught me so much, introduced me to so many wonderful people, and given me an avenue to share my creations with you all. I will never forget this experience, and thank all of you for supporting Miskonduct Klothing and me. 💕

If you want to swing by for one last shopping trip at the Mayfield Boutique, I'll be in-store during regular trading hours for the remainder of this week, with Saturday 10th August being the last day of in-store trading.

Something you can comfortably wear in an office workwear environment, styled with simple accessories and a cropped jacket, or take it out for a night on the town, with pops of red and bold accessories to dial up the glamour!
