Looking for the level up? Escorial is to me the epitome of quality wool. Forget super numbers and micron count. The Escorial sub breed of Merino, hailing from the Spanish royal flocks of Escorial, has been renowned for hundreds of years and this is harnessed for suiting by the English mill .
The softness of this has to be felt to be understood, however unlike some of the ultra fine 200s etc it is a surprisingly durable cloth for something so luxurious.
