Sewing teaches creativity. Patterns teach discipline. The sewing machine teaches patience. And the bobbin? The bobbin teaches us that trust is a dangerous game. 😂🧵

You can measure twice, cut once, follow the pattern perfectly, thread the machine like a professional, and feel completely confident… then suddenly the bobbin decides it has other plans. 😭😂 But perhaps that’s the real lesson of sewing: things don’t always go according to plan, and that’s okay. Untangle the thread, fix the mistake, take a deep breath, and keep stitching. Because behind every beautiful handmade creation is probably at least one tangled bobbin, a few questionable decisions, and a whole lot of patience! ❤️🪡

With everything happening in the world today, even our children are starting to feel the weight of it all 💛

They might have a friend whose family lives in a war-torn country…
They might be missing a parent or loved one who’s away for work, worrying about the fuel crises and if they’ll return…
These concerns are real. And for children who feel empathy deeply, it can become a heavy burden to carry.

As a parent, I truly see the importance of community.
Creating opportunities for our children to take part in activities they love helps surround them with like-minded kids—spaces where they can simply be themselves, laugh, and feel light again ✨

At Sewing Artistry, I am deeply passionate about helping every child feel safe, seen, and comfortable in my classes.
