Pencil case ✏️✏️

Every year, at the start of the school year, I make my daughter a new pencil case. It’s become our little tradition. She chooses the fabric, the style, the details, and I bring it to life with my sewing machine and a lot of love.

What’s been beautiful to watch is how her choices have changed over the years. The colours, the patterns, the textures… they all tell a story about who she is becoming. Each pencil case feels like a snapshot of her growing confidence, her evolving taste, and the young person she’s stepping into.

This year’s design might just be my favourite yet, not just because of the fabric itself, but because of what it represents. She’s finding her voice, her style, her independence, and I get this tiny, creative way to celebrate that with her.

Here’s to another school year, another handmade pencil case, and another chapter in watching her become her own person.
