How awesome are !! 3D printed 2 pairs of bobbins (yes, fluro orange was my choice!) For free and showed me how to do it as well! I get 4 free 3D prints per year so can get upto 8 pairs per year in 12 different colours. Lightweight, sturdy, ideal for those with limited dexterity as they are a bit chunkier (due to design I chose, there were several) and kids as well.

Get a library card people!! See where it takes you 😊

So I bought the white card, with blue flowers, from a charity stall and made the blue card with pink flowers from it using my Silhouette Cameo and a few other added designs and florishes.

I sewed the whole card with a beading needle and the stem stitches are 2mm apart. Used bugle and size 11 seed beads and both Guterman metallic thread and a random spool of light green shiny thread from a cheapy store. Hard to capture quite how shiny they both are!

Nice to be able to create something to be sewn without either spending hours pricking it myself (and it being wonky) or having huge holes (like on my diecut cards).

Fan Edging/3D flower pricking

Print at A4 size - squares should be 5mm, pattern is approx 18cm from top fan pin to bottom edge pin. One fan is 2cm tall.

10 pairs - Perle 8 or soft cotton for flower. Can use crochet cotton no 20 for edging (as the lace will be stiffer and not easy to gather).
