Mixed media sunflower!!

The stem & leaf are free hand machine embroidered paper.
The flower petals are free hand machine embroidery & the centre is hand embroidered using bullion & French knots.

Waiting for the paint to dry so I can start assembling 🌻.

So happy to have my machine back!!
It’s sounding wonderful 😊

3 weeks ago it started clunking in the bobbin area. Anyone who uses a machine regularly knows when something is wrong with their machine & this sounded serious!!

I had a cracked my bobbin case!!

Trees from our road trip!

Autumn leaves in the Adelaide hills, the Gloucester tree in Pemberton & the valley of the giants tree top walk near Denmark.
How lovely are these trees!

3 plates made with carborundum, 4 low relief printing plates with various textures glued on & puffins & rocks on drypoint printing plates, can’t wait for them to dry so I can ink them up & print some fabric!

All part of an online Deborah Campbell course which I’m really enjoying!

Our 2nd visit to The Pinnacle Desert & I’m so pleased we returned!

The pinnacles are natural limestone structures some as high as 3.5 metres, formed approximately 30,000 years ago after the sea receded & left deposits of sea shells.

I really did feel that I was walking on the moon!
It was as magical as I remembered on our 1st visit many years ago!!
