Like so many of the families I help, this car seat owner was absolutely floored by what was hidden away in her child’s seat.

🧹Do you vacuum it out every week or so?
🧽Do you give it a wipe over a damp microfibre or face washer (warm water only)?

📚🚗 Today and tomorrow I'm in Brisbane attending additional child car restraint training with Kidsafe Queensland.

While I was on the plane this morning, I realised July marks a pretty special milestone for me…10 years since I completed my initial ACRI Australian Child restraint Resource Initiative training and started car seat installs alongside Amanda at Bubs2bratz Nursery Hire Townsville.

Over the past decade I've travelled to Melbourne to complete additional ACRI training, climbed into thousands of vehicles, installed and checked thousands of car seats, answered countless questions and met some truly wonderful CQ families.

And every single install has been built on trust.
💙Trust that I’ll treat your child like they’re my own.
💙Trust that I’ll continue to learn, improve and stay current.
💙Trust that I’ll help keep your precious cargo travelling as safely as possible.

That’s why 10 years later I’m still attending training. Because vehicles change. Car seats change. Research changes. Laws change

And the day I think I know everything is probably the day I should stop fitting seats.

So while Absolute Baby is closed today for the Rocky Show Holiday, I'm spending the day doing what I love… learning, asking questions, sharing ideas and building on the knowledge that helps me support you.
