Life Humbled Me Today.
"Yesterday, I put it out there to the universeāand to all of youāthat I was getting my license back. I walked in today expecting to just pay a fee, but they sat me down for a test I hadnāt studied for in donkeys years. Halfway through, the screen went red. I failed.
When you put your goals out there publicly, it's a double-edged sword. When you win, it's greatābut when you trip up, that embarrassment is real."
The Trap:
"That embarrassment could have made me hide in a hole. It could have made me disappear, stop posting, and stay hidden until I 'fixed' it. Thatās where most people give upāthey let the shame of a setback stop the whole mission."
The Pivot:
"But here is the truth: Failing a test doesn't mean the plan is over; it just means I have to do it differently. Instead of hiding in a hole, I reached out. I couldn't get to the gym, so I rang someone, spoke my frustrations out loud, and let the steam out in a safe space.
I had my cry, I dusted myself off, and I'm back on the books."
The Call to Action:
"Donāt let a temporary setback turn into a permanent disappearance. If your plan doesn't happen straight away, don't hideājust adapt. We don't stop, we just go again. ā”ļø"
