PTwo of my loves combined in one super-cute and super-practical piece!

This is one of those projects that had been on my mind for a while but I often forgot about it until I got to the pottery studio, and got covered in clay 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 so I'm glad that when I was stuck at home for the weekend, I remembered and was able to do something about it!

I used the Wildflower Pinafore pattern from for the bodice and waistband, and made up the rest, just hoping that it would work out - and for the most part it did! I'll be making another one with a few tweaks but overall I'm super happy with how this turned out!

We spent hours today checking out all the blooms, playing with friends and helping out with some garden jobs. What a joy to spend time in nature with friends 💐

Scrap busting... A risk but sometimes the end result is fun!!

I've had this cow French Terry for sooo long and it feels so good to have finally used it! 🙌🏽 I really wasn't sure on this combo though, but the mustard was the only plain colour I had enough of so I just went for it, and actually don't mind the result! Mr almost 5 loves it which is the main thing!

This fabric is too dark for my liking, but has been in my stash for so long that I just needed to use it! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!
