The after photo... have removed the lace over skirt. This may not seem like much but the skirt had to be unpicked and ungathered to remove the lace. Then regathered and reattached, and the lining resewn. I am quite pleased with the result and will be making the lace into another separate skirt to wear over the top of the dress :)
