Anna Molinari ruffles, strawberry embroidered denim, vintage Prada sunnies, a Pucci wallet that took me right back to a $2 kaftan I once found in a church op shop in the Hamptons, D&G leopard, Burberry plaid, pearls that have no business being this good with all of it

gucci has always been a favourite, tom ford era especially — that mirror shine, the interlocking G. when i found this pair recently, still in the box, barely worn it made my heart race.

before ra ra superstar, in my styling days circa early 2000s gucci was the brand i loved to style, and it’s featured here in one of my favourite shoots — this oyster cover. they had a showroom in surry hills with only a small but mighty range available to borrow. i visited frequently. in this shoot things came together perfectly, and Oyster chose the Gucci dress as the cover!! we were all so excited to have this published. i kept every polaroid from that shoot , (back when photographers used them to check lighting) lucky for me I've unearthed all these Polaroids again. it's like having proof the moment actually happened.
