🎉🥳 IT’S A CELEBRATION… A decade of stall-holding at GOMA design markets. Yes! That’s right, this GOMA Winter Design Market marks my 10th anniversary. July 2016 was my first GOMA market and I was so bloody excited. That joy has continued every time I’ve been involved since.

So this 25-26 July GOMA market weekend we’ll celebrate. I will be there both days, with new designs, fab fabrics as always, and a little celebration discount to tempt you in. Stay tuned over the next couple of months for things to come. 🥳🎉

How fabulous does Elizabeth look in her new Marimekko pieces - you know I love a pattern clash! L💙VE these pieces together, given grace and beauty by their new owner.

Delightful to have a lovely Brisbane visitor come to shop in my Canberra studio (much smaller than that great Greenslopes space, but still very productive)! Hello everyone, I’ve had a lovely break after a SUPER busy 2025. Looking forward to getting back into the studio and sewing up a storm 🧵 🪡

Last year, after numerous chats with my lovely customers, I gave an undertaking to show the Marimekko fabrics I was looking to work with so people could put their hands up for their own individual pieces from it.

So this is how it will work.

* All available fabric will be very small runs so limited orders can be taken.
* Once I post the fabric on social media there will be a 48 hour window to message and get your order in. Noting, fabric may sell out quickly so there is no guarantee orders can be taken for the full 48 hours (first in, best dressed).
* I am happy to make any of my patterns that you want in the fabric of your choice (I will let you know if it won’t work - discussions and questions encouraged)
* Once an order has been decided a 50% deposit will be required and orders CANNOT BE CANCELLED. Please note: Marimekko fabric is amazing quality but starts at $75 per metre, therefore once you commit there is no going back! Full payment will be expected before your garment is posted.

Here are the first choices:

Photo 1: Pink, charcoal and light brown. Very big print so perfect for long dresses and wide leg pants

Photo 2: Pear, white, melon and dark green. Medium sized print so good for all garments.

Photo 3: Multi-colour, tending to larger print. Good for dresses and pants.
