Last 24 hours… absolute chaos and adventure. 🔥🎣

Lexi had a sleepover…
Conditions were mint…

So the missus and I said stuff it
threw the swag in last minute and went looking for something different.

Headed north, beach driving, found a quiet little spot and set up camp.

No plan. Just vibes.

Got baits in the water quick casting and drone.

First cast… gone. Reefed. 😂

So we sent the drone out instead… and that’s when it turned into a proper session.

Landed:
🦈 4 Port Jackson sharks
🦈 3 Wobbegong sharks

Non-stop action.

Packed it in around 1:30am, but went to bed with that feeling…
“Tomorrow might be the one.”

Woke up at 6am ready to send it…

Only problem, my last drone battery had just about given up on life.

Two half-dead batteries left.

Two shots.

First drop out about 300m… bang.
A solid 60cm snapper hits the sand.

Second drop a couple of hits, but no hookup.

And just like that… session done.

But that’s what it’s all about.

Adventure isn’t certainty.
It’s the unknown.
The risk.
The setbacks.
The moments where things don’t go to plan.

Because if you keep pushing forward…

There’s always gold hiding somewhere in the journey.

You just have to keep going until you find it. 🔥

Epic night on the sand. 🎣🔥

Caught up with Non-Stop Drops crew for a drone session and decided to send it….200m walk in before even dropping a bait.

Worth every step.

Jamie and his brother Corey were sending baits 700m out, I dropped mine around 400m… and within a 5 minutes period it was absolute chaos.

Triple hook up.

Rods loaded up across the beach.

The boys landed three fish, biggest going around 84cm, and I pulled in a solid 52cm just after them.

By the end of the session we had 7 fish on for the night, keeping a few for a feed and sending two back home to grow bigger.

Couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate Jamie’s birthday week.

Absolute epic session with good mates, rods bent, and the ocean firing.

Sometimes the plan is simple… just get to the beach and cast a line.

Headed out for a standard overnighter with my mate Graham.
Nothing fancy just rods in the sand, bait in the water, and seeing what the ocean wanted to offer.

The fishing didn’t disappoint.

A couple of solid tailor came through, and Graham pulled in a white-spotted guitar shark he had to really work to land it on a tailor setup, which made the fight even better.

But honestly…

The real star of the night was the sky.

That sunset was one of those moments where you just stop for a second and take it all in.
Ocean rolling in, rods waiting, and the whole horizon lit up like it was on fire.

Priceless.

The fish were just the bonus.

These are the sessions that remind you why we do it.

Good mates.
Quiet beaches.
Nature putting on a show.

Hard to beat. 🔥🌅

Couple years back… early morning session.

First bait in the water.
Barely had time to settle in.

Then bang hooked up.

And not just any fish…
A proper donkey of a snapper.

One of those fights where your heart’s pounding and you already know this one’s special.

Found this clip scrolling through old footage while I’m currently stuck on the couch / bed feeling pretty crook.

Not ideal… but it’s funny how slowing down sometimes makes you look back and appreciate the journey.

So while I recover, you might see a few more gems come out of the vault moments I never even shared.

Three absolute cracking snapper.
