After nearly 10 years of creating my own bespoke couture wedding gown, I now collaborate and have been working with brides-to-be to bring their dream gowns to life, not only as a designer, but as someone who understands the essence of one-of-a-kind quality.

Every gown is made unique to her bride, 100% custom designed and handcrafted by me, with exclusive fabrics to choose from, personalised veils and a variety of accessories for brides to access.

I love what I do. There’s no better feeling than walking through the journey with the beautiful bride from primary consultation to their final fitting and watching their family exclaim that they could not have imagined them in anything else.

Behind the scenes of crafting Elise's incredible botanical lace gown. With beautifully detailed, delicate silk leaves and miniature roses, creating the most romantic texture over the signature Elissa Marie b***d corset bodice. The hand-crafted blooms finish along the neckline, adding the softest hint of sparkle reflecting her snow glistening wedding day.

Our next source of inspiration was the spectacular landscape of Queenstown, New Zealand. The breathtaking scenery called for a grand ball gown to match its scale, and we secretly hoped for a sprinkle of snow on the wedding day.

These photographs tell the story perfectly. After a morning of rain, the couple were blessed with sunshine for their ceremony, and a helicopter flight into the mountains gifted them the snow they had been wishing for.

I was also honoured to create the Mother of the Groom's gown. Crafted from a rich mushroom silk base with elaborate bronze and rose gold beading, the design began with a structured corset to enhance Anna's hourglass silhouette. I then carefully draped the intricate beadwork through the waist to create depth and shape.

One of my favourite moments came when my Uncle Jim looked at the finished gown and said, "Oh... you really can make a dress." It still makes me smile.

A family wedding that will always hold a special place in my heart. There is something incredibly meaningful about creating a gown for someone you love and contributing something so personal to a wedding day. I was honoured to make the wedding gown, Anna's mother of the groom and found a couple off days to make a chiffon halter-neck gown for their black tie wedding.
