I don’t get too involved with Minecraft and whatever other games the kids are into these days. So I took the kids to Timezone to get an Arcade experience. At least they could understand the hype and get to experience “real games” 😂. Anyway, how is it possible that a kid could just walk up to a game and “clock” it on first attempt. Like, Ever!

To all the Xennials out there that had a Dollarmite account. I remember it being a thing when I was in primary school. Would you say that you are all the better at numbers and money because of it? I’ll admit my business accounting/admin is shocking! I blame that on not having this Dollarmite account- Jokes!
Anyway, I was so envious seeing the fancy kids at school whip out their fancy bank books, with their fancy Alien characters, and fancy rulers, sing to the catchy tunes…. Jealous much Van?
When I stumbled across this ruler in an Opp shop, I knew it was waiting for me! And its Holographic! Now let’s see if my business skills will improve.

In grade 2 there was a girl in my class named Sue. I remember her striking glass blue eyes and dark curly hair. I was lucky enough to be invited to her birthday party held at her home. It may have been the only party I got invited to. She lived above a Milk bar around the corner from my house. Her family operated the business. I remember fantasising about living above all the lollies you could imagine. I don’t remember much about what we did, but I do recall getting to choose an item from the shop to take home. It was the best! Can you guess what I chose? It was 1988!
