🌍 “Mamma… Is This Really How People Live?” 🤔

One day, while watching television, my six-year-old Faiyaz suddenly asked me something that made me pause. 🥹

He was watching people living in beautiful homes,
driving nice cars,
walking through clean streets,
going to beautiful places… ✨🏡🚗🌆

He looked at the screen for a while and then asked—

“Mamma… is this real?” 🤔

I said,
“What do you mean, Faiyaz?”

He pointed at the screen.

“Do people really live like this?” 🌍

For a moment, I didn’t know what to say.

Because to a six-year-old child,
what he sees on a screen can easily become his idea of the world.

He sees the beautiful house. 🏡
But he doesn’t see the years of work behind it.

He sees the clean city. 🌆
But he doesn’t see the systems that keep it that way.

He sees the comfortable lifestyle. ✨
But he doesn’t see the struggles, sacrifices, responsibilities, and difficult days that exist behind many people's lives.

And suddenly I realized something…

A screen shows us a moment.
It rarely shows us the whole story.

Maybe this is true for every country. 🌍

America has beautiful homes. 🇺🇸
Bangladesh has beautiful homes too. 🇧🇩
Europe has beautiful streets. 🇪🇺
Bangladesh has beautiful places too.

But no country is a television screen.

Everywhere, there are people who are struggling.
Everywhere, there are people who are comfortable.
Everywhere, there are dreams, disappointments, ordinary days, and extraordinary ones.

Perhaps what Faiyaz was really asking wasn’t—

“Do people live beautifully?”

Maybe, without knowing it,
he was asking something much bigger:

“Mamma… is the world really what I see?” 🥹

And that question stayed with me.

Because children learn about the world through what we show them.

So maybe our responsibility isn’t to convince them that someone else’s life is better…

Maybe it is to teach them that every picture has a story behind it. 🤍

A beautiful life on a screen is still only one frame of someone’s life.

And our little ordinary life?

It may never look perfect on television…

But it is real. 🏡🤍

🌍 “妈妈……人们真的都这样生活吗？” 🤔

有一天，我六岁的儿子 Faiyaz 看着电视，突然问了我一个让我沉默了几秒的问题。🥹

电视里的人住着漂亮的房子，
开着漂亮的汽车，
走在干净整洁的街道上，
去着美丽的地方…… 🏡🚗🌆✨

他看了一会儿屏幕，然后问我：

“妈妈……这是真的吗？” 🤔

我问他：

“Faiyaz，你为什么这么问？”

他指着电视屏幕说：

“真的有人过这样的生活吗？” 🌍

那一刻，我突然不知道该怎么回答。

因为对于一个六岁的孩子来说，
屏幕里的世界，很容易变成他心目中的“真实世界”。

他看到漂亮的房子。🏡
却看不到房子背后多年的努力。

他看到干净的城市。🌆
却看不到让城市保持整洁的制度和无数人的付出。

他看到舒适、美好的生活。✨
却看不到生活背后的压力、责任、牺牲，以及那些不被镜头记录的艰难时刻。

那一刻，我突然明白了一件事：

屏幕展示的是一个瞬间，
却很少展示完整的故事。

也许，这不仅仅是某一个国家的事情。🌎

美国有美丽的生活。🇺🇸
孟加拉国也有美丽的生活。🇧🇩
欧洲有漂亮的城市。🇪🇺
世界的每一个角落，也都有属于自己的美好。

因为，没有任何一个国家是真正的“电视画面”。

每一个地方都有努力生活的人，
有生活富足的人，
有正在追逐梦想的人，
也有正在经历困难的人。

所以，也许 Faiyaz 真正想问的并不是：

“人们真的都这样生活吗？”

也许，在他小小的脑海里，
他正在问一个更大的问题：

“妈妈……这个世界真的就像我看到的那样吗？” 🥹

这个问题，让我想了很久。

孩子认识世界的方式，
往往来自我们让他们看到的东西。

所以，也许我们真正应该教给他们的，
不是“别人的生活比我们的更好”，

而是告诉他们：

每一张漂亮的照片背后，都有一个我们看不见的故事。 🤍

屏幕里美好的生活，
也许只是一个人生命中的一个画面。

而我们平凡的日子，
也许不会出现在电视里……

但它是真实的。 🏡🤍

🌷✨ Zafreen’s Little Hide & Seek Adventure 🫣💗

Today, my little Zafreen decided to turn our room into her very own Hide & Seek playground! 🏡🎀

👩🏻 Mamma: “Aiya Mama… where are you? 👀
I can’t see you! Where did you go?” 🥺🔍

🤫 Zafreen: Absolutely silent… 🙈✨

So the search began… 🕵🏻‍♀️💭

➡️ Looked here… ❌
➡️ Looked there… ❌
➡️ Checked every little corner… ❌😂

And still… NO ZAFREEN! 😭🤣

I kept calling—

“Aiya Mama, where are you? 🥺
Why can’t I find you?
Where are you hiding?” 🔎🩷

And she was quietly sitting under the bed, trying her best not to make a single sound! 🤭🫣💕

Then finally… 👀✨

I FOUND HER! 🥹🎉

There she was—
my tiny little girl, hiding under the bed like a professional! 😂🩷

That tiny game of Hide & Seek lasted only a few minutes…
but somehow, it became one of those little moments a mother wants to keep forever. 🥹🤍

Because childhood is made of these tiny adventures—
the giggles, the hiding, the searching,
and the memories we don’t realize we’re creating until later. 🌸🫶🏻

🌷✨ ザフリーンの小さなかくれんぼ大冒険 🫣💗

今日は、私の小さなザフリーンが、お部屋を自分だけのかくれんぼの遊び場に変えてしまいました！ 🏡🎀

👩🏻 ママ：「アイヤ・ママ……どこにいるの？ 👀
見つからないよ！どこに行ったの？」🥺🔍

🤫 ザフリーン： 完全に無言…… 🙈✨

さあ、捜索開始……🕵🏻‍♀️💭

➡️ こっちを探して… ❌
➡️ あっちを探して… ❌
➡️ 部屋の隅々までチェックして… ❌😂

それでも……ザフリーンがいない！ 😭🤣

私は何度も呼びました—

「アイヤ・ママ、どこにいるの？ 🥺
どうして見つからないの？
どこに隠れてるの？」 🔎🩷

すると、なんとザフリーンはベッドの下にちょこんと座って、
一生懸命、音を立てないようにしていました！ 🤭🫣💕

そしてついに……👀✨

「見つけたーー！」 🥹🎉

そこにいたのは、
ベッドの下に隠れていた、私の小さな女の子。
まるでプロのかくれんぼ選手みたいでした！ 😂🩷

ほんの数分の小さなかくれんぼ。

でも、なぜかその時間は、
ママがずっと大切に残しておきたい思い出のひとつになりました。 🥹🤍

子どもの頃って、
こういう小さな冒険でできているのかもしれません。

笑い声。 🌸
隠れること。 🫣
探すこと。 🔎
そして、後になって初めて気づく、
「こんなにも素敵な思い出を作っていたんだ」という瞬間。 🫶🏻✨

❤️💭🪽 Zafreen Lifestyle — The Three Days That Felt Like Three Weeks 🫧

पिछले तीन दिनों से मेरी छोटी-सी Zafreen बुखार, खाँसी, सर्दी और उल्टी से एक के बाद एक परेशान हो रही है… 🫧

और जब आपका बच्चा बीमार होता है, तो एक माँ बस अपने बारे में सब कुछ भूल जाती है।

नींद मायने नहीं रखती।
खाना मायने नहीं रखता।
आराम मायने नहीं रखता।

बस आपके सामने अपने उस छोटे-से बच्चे का चेहरा ही मायने रखता है। 🕊️

इन तीन दिनों में मैंने कुल मिलाकर मुश्किल से 8 घंटे ही सोया है।

मैं तभी सोती हूँ जब Zafreen सोती है।
जैसे ही उसे खाँसी आती है, मेरी नींद खुल जाती है।
अगर उसे उल्टी होती है, तो मैं उसके पास होती हूँ।
अगर उसका बुखार बढ़ता है, तो मेरा हाथ तुरंत उसके माथे पर होता है।

कभी-कभी मैं बस उसके पास बैठकर चुपचाप दुआ करती हूँ—

“या अल्लाह, मेरी बच्ची को जल्दी ठीक कर दीजिए।” 🪽

अभी उसे nebulization भी दिया जा रहा है, और अपने छोटे-से बच्चे को इस तरह परेशान होते देखना एक माँ के लिए बेहद मुश्किल होता है।

और एक बीमार बच्चे की लगभग सारी देखभाल अकेले करते हुए…
कभी-कभी थकान इतनी ज़्यादा महसूस होती है कि उसे शब्दों में बताना मुश्किल होता है।

लेकिन फिर भी, एक माँ किसी तरह आगे बढ़ती रहती है।

न पूरी नींद।
न पूरा आराम।
न खुद के बारे में सोचने का समय।

बस अपने बच्चे की देखभाल…
बार-बार…
घंटों तक… 🌙

Motherhood हमेशा उन खूबसूरत तस्वीरों जैसा नहीं होता जो हम देखते हैं।

कभी-कभी motherhood का मतलब होता है—
रात के 3 बजे अपने बीमार बच्चे के पास बैठना,
पूरी तरह थक जाने के बावजूद धीरे से कहना—

“Mommy यहीं है। तुम अकेली नहीं हो।” 🕊️

मैं बस चाहती हूँ कि मेरी छोटी-सी Zafreen फिर से मुस्कुराए। 🪻

कृपया मेरी बच्ची को अपनी दुआओं में याद रखिए।
अल्लाह उसे जल्द और पूरी तरह से स्वस्थ कर दे। 🤲🏻🪽
