Lipi Khandker is an inspiring Bangladeshi fashion designer who has redefined empowerment by creating designs for the empowered modern woman, while at the same time empowering the artisans of Graam Bangla through the vision of merging retail fashion with the traditional craft of our heritage. Lipi Khandker has given almost 15000 women artisans all over Bangladesh the financial independence to support their family with a chance to make a living for themselves, and become something more. She started her journey with Bibiana in 2001, and now she’s starting her own fashion brand, Signature by Lipi Khandker. Signature by Lipi Khandker believes in authenticity. LK believes in slow fashion, being sustainable while enriching the traditional themes of Bangladesh, using traditional embroidery, the pure khadi, pure cotton and silk, and focusing on the classical designs of our country.
