It was a pleasure to attend the launch of the 10th HSBC Export Excellence Awards, especially as a two-time previous winner.

I also enjoyed being part of a short but insightful panel discussion alongside leaders from PRAN-RFL, Ulkasemi, and HSBC. The conversation focused on identifying and unlocking Bangladesh’s export potential beyond Ready-Made Garments (RMG) and exploring opportunities that could shape the country’s next chapter of export growth.

Thank you, HSBC, for its continued contribution to supporting and promoting Bangladesh’s export sector and recognizing the achievements of our exporters.

It was an absolute joy and privilege to address the second-generation RMG entrepreneurs and share my thoughts on how they can redefine Bangladesh's RMG landscape for the future.

আমাদের জীবনের প্রতিটি অর্জন, প্রতিটি ভালো পথে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার পেছনে মায়ের দোয়া ও অবদান নীরবে কাজ করে। মা শুধু পরিবারকে আগলে রাখেন না, তিনি সন্তানকে মানুষ করেন, মূল্যবোধ শেখান এবং জীবনের কঠিন সময়ে শক্তি হয়ে পাশে থাকেন।

আজ মা দিবসে পৃথিবীর সকল মায়ের প্রতি জানাই গভীর শ্রদ্ধা, ভালোবাসা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা। যারা আমাদের জীবনের প্রথম শিক্ষক, প্রথম আশ্রয় এবং সবচেয়ে বড় অনুপ্রেরণা—তাদের প্রতি আমাদের সম্মান শুধু এক দিনের নয়, প্রতিদিনের।

It is a great honor to receive the GU Excellent Factory Award 2026 from FAST RETAILING CO., LTD., the parent company of UNIQLO and GU. At the Fast Retailing Factory Conference 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, on 25 March 2026, Mr. Tadashi Yanai CEO of Uniqlo, presented the award to Mr. Asif Ashraf, Managing Director, Urmi Group.

Only four factories worldwide received this prestigious award, with UHM Limited being the only apparel factory from Bangladesh to earn this recognition.

This recognition reflects UHM’s excellence in quality, innovation, workplace standards, production flexibility, and sustainability, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
