Waited six long years to marry the person I always wanted as my life partner, a person who has seen me at my worst, who stood by my side no matter what. A person who also waited patiently, just to see me once, from the beginning of our journey to the day we finally met after six years. Six years is a long time, especially in a long distance relationship where you don’t get to see each other like other couples do. It’s a relationship where trust becomes the foundation that keeps everything together. But we made it through, together.
Our marriage was nothing short of a dream come true. It was decided just a month before the big day. We didn’t even have enough time to pick the perfect outfits or jewelry, and there wasn’t enough time to plan a big wedding. Yet, at the end of the day, everything went beautifully. When God wills something to happen, nothing can stop it.
We were truly blessed. Alhamdulillah for everything. Happy anniversary to my partner!
