What to do as a practicing Muslim:

1. Regular 5 times prayer in the mosque in congregation (for brothers) / Awal time (for sisters). Fulfilling all obligatory duties.

2. Leaving the beard / full veil i.e. wearing niqab with socks on hands and feet.

3. Avoiding all haram activities like listening to music, watching movies, engaging in haram relationships, bad habits etc.

4. The Tajwid of the Qur'an is authenticated.

5. To earn Halal sustenance. Staying away from usury, bribery etc.

6. Protecting eyes.

7. Stay away from backbiting, lying, backbiting etc.

8. Do not waste your rights.

9. To become a sin is to repent.

10. Waiting on God for any need.

These are the minimum basic tasks. These are mostly essential to claim oneself as a Muslim. Let's get our basics right. At least this is what we should do as Muslims.

Just as there was no one in the belly of the fish in the deep sea for Yunus, while there was no one in the desolate desert for Bibi Hajar, there was no one by the side of the baby Musa (a.s.) who was washed away in the river.

Always remember, only our Lord was, is, and will always be our Lord in the difficult times of the servant.
