I’m honestly about ready to burn my sewing machine. 🔥🚫
​I posted a photo of this completed project, which took 120+ hours of painstaking work, and all I got were critiques from people who couldn't even thread a needle. The sheer disrespect for the skill and labor involved in traditional arts is devastating.
​Why are we a society that only celebrates what’s fast, disposable, and imported? If you respect the time it takes to make something real, prove it in the comments, because right now I feel like I wasted my time.

I started piecing this quilt together on a quiet weekend when I honestly just needed something to keep my mind busy. Halfway through, my grandma looked at it and said it reminded her of the blankets she used to make for family gatherings years ago. That comment stayed with me the whole time I was sewing the final pieces together. Now every time I look at it, it feels less like decor and more like a memory stitched into fabric.
