We Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt.) Ltd. commit to Phasing out/moving/ away from 2030 coal for owned and contracted Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing sites used for their product as soon as possible, and latest by 2030.

We Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt.) Ltd. have been working with one of our customers ( global brand ) to understand and address our Scope 3 emissions.

We Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt.) Ltd. have measured our Scope 3 Category 1 and Category 4 emissions covering their product and have set a greenhouse gas emissions reduction target for those emissions in line with version 1.2 of the SBTI Net Zero Standard , which supports the ambition of the Paris Agreement in limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre - industrial levels.

The baseline year for this target is 2024, with the target year also set as 2030, aiming for a 42% reduction in emissions.

গত ৭-৭-২০২৫ ইং তারিখে ইব্রাহিম নীট গার্মেন্টস (প্রাঃ) লিঃ - এ বাংলাদেশ ফায়ার সার্ভিস ও সিভিল ডিফেন্স কর্তৃক একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ফায়ার সেফটি ও ইমার্জেন্সি রেসপন্স ট্রেনিং অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

এই প্রশিক্ষণে আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানের প্রায় ৪০ জন শ্রমিক, কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারী অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন। প্রশিক্ষণের মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল কর্মীদের মধ্যে অগ্নি নির্বাপণ, তাৎক্ষণিক সাড়া দেওয়া এবং নিরাপদে সরিয়ে নেওয়ার বিষয়ে সচেতনতা তৈরি করা।

আমরা বাংলাদেশ ফায়ার সার্ভিস ও সিভিল ডিফেন্স-কে আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ জানাই তাদের সহযোগিতার জন্য।

Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt.) Ltd. is proud to progress our participation in the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Collective Action Accelerator to Phase 2. Together we will work/are working in Narayanganj with AWS Members and six (06) other facilities to leverage the knowledge and skills from Phase 1 of the programme to take action. In this phase of the project, we will be/are developing and implementing water stewardship plans and working together to address shared water challenges. We Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt.) Ltd. have set a greenhouse gas emission target covering our Scope 01 & 02 emissions in line with the latest criteria and recommendations of the SBTi which supports the ambition of the Paris Agreement in limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial laves.
We have set a baseline which is baseline year 2023, target year will be 2033 and our reduction target 54.60% within the timeframe.
We Ibrahim Knit Garments (Pvt.) Ltd. have been working with one year of our customers (global brand) to understand and address our Scope 3 emission.
We confirm that the Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing sites we contract with have set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets covering the manufacturing sites’ Scope 1 & 2 emissions, in line with the criteria and recommendation of the SBTi.
