Waistcoats don't have to be stuffy. It's just a matter of finding the right waistcoat.
Extra style, extra slimming at the waist, and extra pockets.

This one is made from a coated fabric, that has a leather-like feel, but it's lighter to wear.
It comes in standard sizes, but we also do made to measure.

Vegan leather, yay or nay? You might think that going for vegan leather is just about avoiding genuine leather. It is indeed more animal-friendly. But it's more than that.

Textile production is constantly improving. While vegan leather used to look and feel like a synthetic monstrosity, it's more and more getting to a point that vegan can have advantages over genuine leather.

Vegan leather is often softer to the touch, and less heavy to wear.
For a waistcoat, 'not being heavy' is generally a good feature to have.

If you plan on wearing your waistcoat mainly without a jacket, there is no need to have the outside of the back of the waistcoat in lining. Your outfit will look a lot more complete, if your waistcoat has outer fabric on the back as well.

Lining is mostly for the inside of the waistcoat. And the back of a waistcoat is traditionally made from lining, to have your coat slide over it smoothly, and to avoid bulk. Lining will not be as strong as the fabric on the outside of your waistcoat.
If you don't plan on wearing a jacket over it, go for a finished look.

Clip buttons for classic suspenders. Wear your braces like a true gentleman, with leather loops, without sewing buttons on the waistbands of all your pants.

Just clip these baby's on, and you're all set.

Classic suspenders. Classy. But what's with the leather loops?
Why wear braces with leather loops, instead of clips?

The most obvious answer is simple: style.
But there's more to it than that, of course.
The little clips on modern braces give them 3 anchor points, where they are attached to the waistband of your trousers. And they can damage your waistband, if you wear them regularly.

Leather loops give your braces 6 anchorpoints, deviding the strain on your waistband in half for each point. The buttons with which the loops are attached to your pants are sewn onto your waistband. They do not damage the fabric at all.

You can sew the buttons on the inside, for a more low-key attachment of the braces. Or go full out and sew them on the oustide.

Our braces come with 6 buttons, that match the metal of the braces, and a guide for placement.
If you do prefer to use clips, they are included as well, and interchangeable with the leather loops.

It means the patterns are altered to your measurements and proportions, before the fabric is cut, and assembled. This way, the clothes will always fit exactly right.
On top of that, we add extra seam allowance. If you should need extra room in the future, your clothes can be altered again. Sustainability also means producing clothing that can be worn for years.
