Harbor of Men doet mee met de kunstroute ‘5 Corners Up!’ 🎨🎩
Van 12 september t/m 18 oktober 2026 transformeert hartje Antwerpen in een grote openbare galerie. Tijdens deze wandelroute ontdek je het werk van 30 kunstenaars in 20 lokale speciaalzaken, en wij zijn supertrots dat wij een van de gastlocaties zijn!

Als herenboetiek en hoedenspeciaalzaak hebben we een heel bijzondere samenwerking. De kunstenaar heeft namelijk speciaal voor onze winkel een gloednieuw kunstwerk gemaakt, volledig geïnspireerd op spreekwoorden in verband met hoeden.
Het werk krijgt een ereplaats in onze etalage! Je kunt dit unieke, op maat gemaakte kunstwerk dus al direct vanaf de straat bewonderen.

✈️ Let op: wij zijn nog even op vakantie tot 15 september!
Omdat het werk in onze etalage staat, hoef je gelukkig niets te missen en kun je het vanaf de start van de route (12 september) al wel van buitenaf bekijken. Vanaf 15 september staan onze deuren weer open en kun je het komen combineren met een bezoekje in de winkel (en pas gerust meteen een mooie hoed 😉).

As a hat enthusiast, you undoubtedly know brands like Stetson, Borsalino, and Mayser. But Belgium also has a strong tradition in this area: City Sport. This family workshop has been making caps since the 19th century, making it one of the oldest manufacturers in our country. Today, brothers Louie and Arthur are at the helm.
For our collection, they custom-make everything. We select the fabrics, determine the colors, and choose the exact fit. That means every City Sport cap in our store is unique.

Did you know you can create 3 different styles with just 1 Panama hat? We do this using the power of steam. You don’t need any special equipment for it—just an ironing board or a table, and an iron with a steam function. Lastly, you can also grab a clean, dry towel.
Style 1
We’ll start with the easiest one, where we simply iron the brim flat. Personally, I prefer the brim slightly curved upward so it doesn’t look too much like a saucer.
Style 2
Now we can easily transition from Style 1 to Style 2. This is the classic Fedora style, where the brim goes down in the front and easily turns up at the back.
Style 3
Here, we shape the brim entirely downward. This style offers the most shade.
