Happy New Year KN Fam ✨

2025 gently led me back here! To our Mukonyo, to some of the villages where many of the women we work with live. NOT just to create, or prototype, or plan for what’s next, but to reconnect. I came to enjoy the late night conversations under the stars, to spend hot afternoons under whichever shade we could find, to live in their homes, to walk their paths, to share meals and laughter wherever it struck us, and to just have some wonderful holiday cheer together.

Undeniably, the experience has really reshaped how I’m stepping into 2026. It’s been grounding, healing, and deeply reinvigorating. As we step into 2026, I’m excited to slowly draw you closer into this world of ours, to share our stories from its Mukonyo - our place of origin, our beginning, and to do so, oh so so happily.
I honestly cannot wait to continue the journey with you all. ✨

✨ A whole Founder? ☺️ Little me would be so proud! ✨

Two years ago, I took a leap of faith towards something that bad been weighing so heavily in my heart that I couldn't shake it off. I sincerely started Kua Nasi with nothing but a wild dream and a whole lot of passion. I had no clear roadmap of how I'd empower women now that id decided that this is what I wanted to do, just the stubborn belief that I could do something—anything—to empower women. Fast forward, and here we are. Kua Nasi is real, and all of you are proof. The 3 masters degree(s) are real. The impact we're having is real. 😭✨🤯

This journey has been a mix of long nights, crazy ideas, endless learning, and moments of doubt (so many 😅). But more than anything, it's been a beautiful adventure filled with purpose, growth, and the most incredible people.

To everyone who's walked with me—mentors, classmates, artisans, friends, and my amazing support system—thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💛 The best part? This is just the beginning! 🚀

As I reflect on 2024, I am filled with gratitude for everyone who connected with Kua Nasi this year. What started out as a huge dream that felt too big to be accomplished quickly became our daily work and joy and we could not have come this far without YOU.

So, whether you interacted with our brand physically or virtually, attended any of our events or exhibitions, shopped our products, or partnered with us in any other way (all our collaborators and partners) — you’ve played a significant role in our journey and success so far, so THANK YOU!

This year, we proudly worked with over 60 women artisans, ensuring they were fairly compensated for their labor and services. Together, we’ve taken meaningful steps toward empowering communities and creating timeless, sustainable designs that tell their story.
