1st PHASE: FOOTING TRENCHES
2nd PHASE: AFTER LEVELING THE LAST TOPPING SOIL/GRAVEL (After compacting/leveling)

Termites do not crack the foundation of the structure to emerge.
Termites use available gaps and spaces to emerge. Normally a gap between the foundation slab and the foundation wall.

It is important that when treating the foundation soil, the chemical is applied in a manner that it lines along the foundation bricks. The anti Termites solution binds with the soil partiles along the foundation wall hence creating a red zone for termites tunnels that enters the foundation under footings.

1) A major crack that extends from the foundation to roofing planks.
2) An extension joint. If the building underwent extension, and the structure is poorly joined.
3) Fittings and wall tillings that extends up the ceiling/roofing level (normally in kitchens and bathrooms)

Rodents (Rats)

PESTICIDE RESISTANCE!!!

Do you know why the use of antibiotics is strict and only accessible through Dr's prescription? The answer is: Improper use (persistent) of antibiotics can cause bacterial resistance. Pictures of the Gum Poles (electric Power lines, picture taken along Mahalapye-Shoshong road) are only used to explain how termites destroy the wooden gumpoles,used on fencing, Wooden farm houses and wooden safari houses to mention a few.

FACTS!!!

*Termites don't survive under light conditions, hence making it hard for termites to damage wood from the outside surface without having to cover itself with soil.
-With this explained termites normally attacks wood from the inside, taking advantage of the interior darkness. THE DAMAGE DONE IS FAST AND EFFORTLESS!!!

*Volatile termites tunnels are under ground.
-With this said, any wood uprotected that has been installed from underground is at risk of termites attack from the inside until its frail.

WOODEN FARM HOUSE!!!
The picture below illustrates how wooden supporting logs of the wooden farm house are supposed to be installed from underground.
-The base and the sides of the log should be wholly covered with cement - concrete mixture to close down any chance where termites can reach the log.
